4&2M Workshop and conference Multi-Material Micro Manufacturing Focusing on Metal Processing and Metrology

organized by Budapest University of Technology and Economics, Department of Manufacturing Engineering under the frame and support of the FP6 Network of Excellence 4M (Multi Material Micro Manufacture: Technology and Applications).

The aim of the event is to introduce the initial results of the members of 4M network in the fields of Metal processing and Metrology, to bring together researchers and industrial specialists of the micro manufacturing and to open new forum for discussion of the ideas, the problems and the solutions.

Invited speakers of the Workshop are selected by the Metal processing and by the Metrology Divisions of 4M Network of Excellence.

Conference provides oral or poster sessions, topics are

· Micro manufacturing technologies,
· Non conventional machining,
· Ultraprecision machining,
· Tooling of micro machining,
· Clamping in micro machining,
· Measurement of surface finish,
· Measurement of micro size parts.

The abstract must include the following:

· Abstract Title
· Author listing (Name, Affiliation, Address for all authors). Corresponding author should be indicated and mailing address, phone, fax number and e-mail address should be provided.
· Abstract Text (text not less than 250 words, preferably 1500 words)
· Keywords
· Type of presentation (Oral or Poster)
