The Centre of Nanotechnologies sponsored by the Romanian grant for Centre of Excellence and by the Ministry of Research and Education, had the initiative to realize two volumes “Nanoscience and Nanoengineering” (2002) and “Advances in Micro- and Nanoengineering” (2004) in “Micro and Nanoengineering Series” (Fig. 3).
