Objectives

  • Studies, experiments and characterization of new materials and processes, to be used for developing mobile micromechanical structures as cantilever beams and sensors used in micro-handling and micro-assembling
  • Development of micromachining technologies for manufacturing of micro-channels and 3D microstructures
  • Compatibility of technologies for manufacturing of micro-robots, mechanical, optical and bio microsesors to be use in detection and manipulation of biological specimens
  • Design and simulations; characterization of microstructures
  • Demonstrating and testing the integration and functioning of the proposed micro-robotic positioning actuators and sensors structures
  • Coordination: permanent interactions with the partners involved in the project
  • Development of new applications of microsensors and actuators
  • Dissemination of the results
