is used?
The apparatus developed by us allows:
- conoscopic measurements microscope functionality → maping the
position of the optical axis across the surface of the thin film, as
well as any deviation from uniaxiality
- determination of the optical activity
- determination of the sign of biaxial crystals
- measurement of the birefringence of the thin film
- measurement of the birefringence dispersion
- the image can be seen through an ocular or be captured by a CCD camera
and transferred to a PC |
