Research interests: Nanostructure fabrication and characterization for biomedical application;

wpe5.jpg (680 bytes) Fabrication and characterization of silicon chip for PCR and DNA analysis, the device is a silicon array for hybridization DNA with PCR method, study the chemistry surface for immobilization DNA and investigate thermo – electrical proprieties of silicon. Thermo-electrical simulation of heat transfer in silicon for a better control of temperatures for PCR reactors.

(i) The properties of porous silicon - a nanostructured material based on silicon obtained by an anodisation process -, nanostructured silicon oxide layers, and metallic particles embedded in dielectric layers: conduction, biocompatibility;
(ii) The influence of electrochemical etching parameters and on its morphology, composition, and structure
(iii) Development of different physico-chemical methods for surface functionalisation for different biomedical applications.
