Aims and scope of the journal: The primary objective of the journal is the publication of original results of research in information science and technology. There is no restriction on the addressed topics, the only acceptance criterion being the originality and quality of the articles. All papers are refereed.
      Likewise, survey articles of high quality are accepted. Contributions to recently emerging areas are encouraged.

      Romanian Journal of Information Science and Technology is indexed and abstracted in the following Thomson Reuters products and information services:
      • Science Citation Index Expanded (also known as SciSearch®),
      • Journal Citation Reports/Science Edition.

      A hard copy of the paper (in duplicate), or a Latex file is required (all macros used should be included; both Emtex and Latex2e are allowed; the standard article style is recommended). For accepted papers, the Latex file is requested. No galley proofs are sent to authors, the paper is printed in the final form received from the authors after the completion of the refereeing process. For each published paper 20 reprints are free of charge.

      Subscription information: Romanian Journal of Information Science and Technology is published in one volume consisting of four issues per year.
