E-news CAS 2023, No. 1 - Call for papers

The Organizing Committee of the International Semiconductor Conference (CAS) is glad to invite you to attend the 46th edition of the conference, an IEEE event, taking place in Sinaia, Romania, from 11 to 13 October 2023.

A conference with a long tradition, CAS has gathered along the years a strong community of researchers, academic experts and students, who share ideas, recent achievements and challenges in the exciting field of micro- and nanotechnologies and semiconductor devices.

CAS conference annually attracts around 130 participants, who enjoy a comprehensive program including technical papers presented in oral and poster sessions, invited talks, special sessions for student papers and satellite events. The technical program is accompanied by social events: Welcome Cocktail, a trip and Banquet including the ceremony awards for Best Papers in conference sessions and Best Student Papers.

Authors are invited to submit original paper in one of the conference topics and be part of the conference programme:

  • Nanoscience and Nanoengineering
  • Micro- and Nanophotonics and Optoelectronics
  • Microwave and Millimeter Wave Circuits and Systems
  • Microsensors and Microsystems
  • Modelling
  • Semiconductor Devices
  • Integrated Circuits

Important dates:
Regular papers submission:                            MAY 15, 2023
Notification of papers acceptance:               JUNE 15, 2023
Final submission of accepted papers:          JUNE 26, 2023

Prospective authors are invited to submit full papers (4 pages). The accepted papers of 4 pages presented at CAS conference will be published in the Conference Proceedings and will be submitted for inclusion into IEEE Xplore subject to meeting IEEE Xplore's scope and quality requirements. Furthermore, the papers are indexed by Web of Science. Extended versions of selected papers presented at the conference may be included in special issues of indexed journals,the contributions being refereed according to the standards of the Journals.

Authors have also the option of submitting 2 pages papers that could be selected for presentation at the conference only and will not be published in the Conference Proceedings.

The students participation in CAS conference is strongly encouraged. The conference includes special sessions for students papers and offers reduced registration fees.
