Abstract

This paper addresses the issue of speeding up the execution of a fuzzy inference algorithm such as the fast direct chaining using parallel structures known to work in other domains. First we will describe the architecture and its components and then we will provide an example to illustrate how this architecture is used to improve the speed of the inference process. To allow maximal gain, certain adjustments are made. The example illustrates the implementation of inferencing procedure on a Hyper-Cube machine.
