Abstract.
We consider a class of P systems, which we call Artificial Cell Systems (ACS),
consisting of a membrane structure, multisets of symbols placed in its regions, and a set
of rewriting rules acting in all the regions. Dissolving and creating membranes depends on
the size of multisets. We have implemented such a system by using LISP, in the particular
variant when the size of each multiset is bounded. Results of simulations of ACS evolution
are reported. |
