Abstract.
New
computability models, called membrane systems or P systems, based on the evolution of
objects in a membrane structure, were recently introduced. The seminal paper of Gheorghe
Paun describes three ways to look at them: transition, rewriting and splicing P systems
having different properties.
Here we investigate two variants of splicing P systems improving results concerning their
generative capability. One minimal result concerning the number of membranes used is
obtained. |
