EXMATEC 2018 - The 14th International Workshop on Expert Evaluation and Control of Compound Semiconductor Materials and Technologies will be organized in same place from May 16 – 18, 2018. The two events complement each other covering a wide aspect of material and device considerations.
The Workshop aims to bring together scientists and engineers working in the area of III-V and other compound semiconductors, two-dimensional Layered (2D) devices and integrated circuits. Applications include switching, microwave, mm-wave, THz and optoelectronics.
Both invited papers and short submitted papers will be presented during the three-day meeting.
The idea is to address new results in short presentations to initiate an intensive and fruitful discussion of relevant topics. Despite of the European character of the workshop series, interested people from all over the world are invited to attend.
The European Workshop on Compound Semiconductor Devices and Integrated Circuits held in Europe has a long-standing tradition and was established in 1973. Since then it has been regularly held at different places in Europe, the latest in in Italy (2011), France (2012), Germany (2013), Greece (2014), Slovakia (2015), Portugal (2016) and Spain (2017). For the first time this workshop is organized in Bucharest, the capital of Romania and will take place in amphitheatre of the library of Romanian Academy, located in the centre of the town.
April 15, 2018
March 12, 2018 March 2, 2018: Short or Long (preferred) Abstract submission deadline.
March 23, 2018: Notification of acceptance and opening of registration.
April 6, 2018: Long Abstract submission deadline.
April 16, 2018: Deadline for registration and Confirmation of participation.
Authors wishing to present a paper should submit a maximum two-page “long” abstract (text and figures) -TEMPLATE.
The accepted papers will be distributed to the workshop participants on USB flash-drives.
A “short” 100-word abstract may be submitted by March 2, 2018. This must, however, be followed by the “long” two-page camera-ready version by April 6, 2018. This option will ensure that their latest results can be included in the workshop proceedings.
