E-news CAS 2020, No. 2 - Papers submission site is open; New conference deadlines

We are glad to announce you that the papers submission site for the 43rd International Semiconductor Conference - CAS 2020 is OPEN!
CAS 2020, an IEEE event, will take place from 7 to 9 October 2020 in Sinaia, Romania.
CAS Organizing Committee is constantly monitoring the situation of the current COVID-19 pandemic, following the reports and statistics about the novel coronavirus on daily basis and we assure you that the health and safety of the CAS 2020 participants is our top priority.

Taking into account the current situation, please find below the NEW DEALINES for CAS 2020:
Papers submission deadline: July 3, 2020, (June 2, 2020)
Notification of papers acceptance: July 31, 2020, (July 17, 2020)
Final submission of accepted papers: August 7, 2020, (July 24, 2020)

CAS 2020 will provide you a great opportunity to connect with top-level speakers from research centres, universities and industry, presenting latest results in micro- and nanotechnologies and sharing knowledge about new developments in semiconductor components and systems.
You are invited to submit papers on the following TOPICS:

  • Nanoscience and Nanoengineering
  • Micro- and nanophotonics and Optoelectronics
  • Microwave and Millimeter Wave Circuits and Systems
  • Microsensors and Microsystems
  • Modelling
  • Semiconductor Devices
  • Integrated Circuits

All the papers will be submitted at https://epapers.org/cas2020.
Regular papers of 4 pages, A4 format will be prepared using the template available on the conference website, section Call for papers.
Alternative option: Authors have the possibility to submit papers of 2 pages, which could be selected for presentation at the conference only and will not be published in the Conference Proceedings.
Your option for the conference topic (track) is mandatory when submitting the paper. You can suggest either oral or poster presentation, but the final decision will be taken by the Technical Program Committee.
Students should mark the option “Student Paper Contest” in the online submission form, so their papers will be included in the special student sessions and registered for the Best Student Paper competition.
