E-news CAS 2018, No. 7

We are glad to inform you that CAS 2018 conference program is now available on the conference website. The program of the 41st edition of the International Semiconductor Conference includes plenary sessions with Invited presentations, parallel sessions for contributed papers, student papers, as well as posters.
Please note that the accepted papers must be presented at the conference by one of the authors. IEEE reserves the right to exclude any accepted paper from distribution after the conference (including removal from IEEE Xplore) if the accepted paper is not presented at the conference.
Practical information for the authors.
Oral sessions:
the authors should use PowerPoint presentations. The speakers are requested to ensure that the presentation, including questions and answers, takes no longer than the time stipulated in the Conference Programme: 20 minutes for contributed papers (15 minutes with 5 minutes for questions), respectively 30 minutes for invited papers (25 minutes with 5 minutes for questions).
Poster sessions:
The posters should be A0 size (841 x 1189 mm). 

The technical program will be accompanied by social events, offering the participants opportunities to network and share ideas in a relaxed environment. All the participants are invited to attend CAS 2018 Welcome Cocktail (Tuesday, Oct. 09, 20:30 h) and CAS 2018 Banquet (Friday, Oct. 12, 20:30 h). The social programme includes this year a guided tour to Poiana Brasov resort and to the charming Brasov old town (Thursday, Oct. 11, 14:00 h).
For the registered participants at the conference, the cost of social events is included in the Conference Fee.

CAS 2018 attendees should send the Registration form, marking the option for accommodation, to cas@imt.ro until September 15, 2018!
The registration fee includes access to all conference sessions, conference materials including the CAS 2018 Proceedings (on USB flash-drives), coffee breaks and lunches, Welcome Cocktail, Banquet, guided tour. The conference fee does not include the accommodation cost.
Transport from the airport to Rina Sinaia Hotel and back is provided by the conference organisers for participants arriving at Bucharest "Henri Coanda" International Airport - OTP. When sending the registration form, the conference participants should send also their arrival and departure dates, hours and flight no. [details]
