  • Dr. Martino Aldrigo - Project director / CS II
  • Dr. Martino Aldrigo - the project leader - obtained his PhD in Electronics Engineering, Telecommunications and Information Technology from the University of Bologna, Italy, in 2014. Since December 2014 he is employed at the National Institute for Research and Development in Microtechnologies (IMT) in Bucharest, Romania, since 2022 as Scientific Researcher II (CSII). His main expertise comprises the electromagnetic simulations and measurements of RF/microwave systems for energy-harvesting/wireless applications. In the field of his research activity at IMT he is deeply involved in the design of graphene/2D materials/ferroelectrics-based components at microwave and THz frequencies for innovative micro- and nanodevices. He has participated/participates to many national and international (FP7, ENIAC, H2020, Horizon Europe) projects as team member/leader.   • Dr. Alina Cristina Bunea - CS I
  • Dr. Alina Cristina Bunea received her PhD (2016) degree from the “Politehnica” University of Bucharest, Romania. She is currently working as a senior research scientist at IMT Bucharest, where she is involved in the design, 3D electromagnetic modeling and characterization of passive and active microwave circuits. She was a key team member in 13 research projects, led 3 national projects and is currently leading an international project. Her main expertise lies in the design, modeling and characterization of microwave devices. Role in the project: potentiostat testing, antenna system design and testing, integration, validation.   • Dr. Mircea Dragoman - CS I
  • Dr. Mircea Dragoman graduated from the “Politehnica” University of Bucharest, Electronics Faculty, in 1980. He received his PhD degree in electronics in 1991.   • Dr. Alina Cismaru - CS I
  • Dr. Alina Cismaru is Scientific Researcher I (CSI) at IMT-Bucharest. She graduated from the Physics Faculty in 1998, MSc degree in physics in 2000, PhD degree in semiconductor physics in 2008, University of Bucharest, Physics Faculty. Her current research activities are the design and characterization of CNTs and graphene-based devices working as gas sensors and biosensors for microwave applications.   • Dr. Livia Dinu - CS I
  • Dr. Livia Dinu (PhD in Chemistry, 2015) is Scientific Researcher I (CSI) at IMT-Bucharest with over 12 years of expertise in sensors, biosensors, analytical chemistry, and materials science. Engaged in numerous national projects, she obtained valuable experience in functional nanomaterial-based sensor development, electrode functionalization, laboratory validation, data analysis, and project management. Role in the project: design of the electrochemical device, functionalization, testing, validation, and integration of the MIN-based sensor with the portable device.   • Dr. Cătălin Pârvulescu - CS II
  • Dr. Catalin Parvulescu (PhD in Electronic Engineering, 2015) is process engineer at IMT for more than 17 years, with expertise in micro/nanofabrication techniques, design of technological flow; realization, optimization of technological processes - photolithography. He has also expertise in collaborating with SME partners for technological transfer. Role in the project: design and fabrication of the electrochemical devices.   • Dr. Sabrina State - CS III
  • Dr. Sabrina State (MSc, BSc in Chemistry, Zaragoza, Spain; PhD in Physics, 2021) is a highly motivated young researcher at IMT and assistant professor at Faculty of Medical Engineering - National University of Science and “Politehnica” University of Bucharest, with a large educational background and expertise in the field of synthetic chemistry, materials and electrochemistry. Her PhD was developed in the frame of a Marie Skłodowska-Curie doctoral fellowship in the field of electrochemistry.   • Dr. Pericle Vărășteanu - CS III
  • Dr. Pericle Varasteanu (PhD in Physics, 2022, Faculty of Physics, University of Bucharest) is a researcher scientist in the Nanobiotechnologies group at IMT-Bucharest, his main research areas cover the fundamental study of plasmonic systems for various applications such as biosensing and photodetection and the study of supercapacitors as energy storage devices. In addition, he is involved in integrating microcontrollers powered by supercapacitors for IoT applications.   • Andrei Bobocea - Lider P1
  • Andrei Bobocea - P1's leader - is an assistant professor at the Department of Economic Informatics and Cybernetics, the Faculty of Cybernetics, Statistics, and Economic Informatics, Bucharest University of Economic Studies. He is enrolled in a PhD program at the Bucharest University of Economic Studies and he has been working as a full stack web developer as part of Cyberllence Inovatie SRL for the past few years. Role in the project: coordination, integration of the microcontroller with other components.
  • Dr. Andrei Toma - Membru / Consultant tehnologic
  • Dr. Andrei Toma is an Associate Professor at the Computer Science Department of the Bucharest University of Economic Studies and the Chief Technical Officer of Cyberllence Inovatie SRL. He is involved in a series of initiatives in applying Artificial Intelligence to enhance education, both academic and commercial and has significant project experience both in artificial intelligence and scalable systems. He has authored/co-authored 3 books, 15 articles and 16 scientific conference papers and has an h-index=5. Role in the project: technological consultation, integration of the microcontroller with other components.
  • Dr. Antonio Clim - Membru / Expert rețele și securitate
  • Dr. Antonio Clim graduated the Faculty of Food Science, Chemistry and Engineering at the University of Galati in 1996. In 2023 he obtained his PhD in the field of Economic Informatics. His research interests include Business Informatics, Computer Networks, and Smart Cities. Currently he is Teaching Assistant at Faculty of Cybernetics, Statistics and Economic Informatics from the Bucharest University of Economic Studies. His work focuses on the security and analysis of machine-learning applications for health services. Role in the project: microcontroller interface with the RFID dual-antenna system.
