PROJECTS

Notwithstanding its late creation, the Molecular Nanotechnology Lab was active and successful in national project competitions. Current situation shows:

  • 1 project co-founded by the European Fund for Regional Development (POS-CCE 209 - Microfluidic factory for assisted self-assembly of nanosystems, “MICRONANOFAB”).

  • 1 project founded by the European Cooperation in Science and Technology (COST) – Biomedicine and Molecular Biosciences, “European network for innovative uses of EMFs in biomedical applications (EMF-MED)” - member

  • 4 Partnerships national projects
    • Microfluidic biochip for rheological characterization of non-Newtonian biological fluids with applications in medical diagnosis and treatment, “MELANOCHIP”;
    • Micro- electro- mechanical system with applications in reconstructive microsurgery of peripheral nerves, “RECONECT
    • Immunoassay Lab-on-a-chip for cellular apoptosis study,  “CELLIMMUNOCHIP”;
    • Lab-on-a-chip for label free detection of cancer cells, “CANCELLAB

  • 1 Ideas national project (Development of A Conceptual Model of a Lab-On-A-Chip for Continuous Particles Separation Through Magnetophoresis And Dielectrophoresis)
