Projects description

The project is integrated in a new  research area at European and international level, TRANSPARENT ELECTRONICS, which is a new technology, in progress, related to the transparent electronic and optoelectronic component fabrication.

ELOTRANSP project with its approached thematic and the proposed objectives is situated in 1.7 Nanoelectronics, Photonics and Micro/nanosystems integrated thematic priority and it is situated in the specific objective 1.7.4 Transparent Electronics  from direction 1 – Information technology and communications of the 4 Programme.ELOTRANSP is a complex project and the main goal of this project is the development of processes and devices for  Transparent Electronics domain by elaborating  of technological processes to obtain oxidic thin layers and transparent, conductive polymeric nanocomposite on transparent substrates (glass and PET), elaboration of characterization methods for transparent polymeric nanocomposite materials and elaboration and experimentation of transparent optoelectronic and electronic components.

The projects will create more knowledge by new processes and devices in this new domain, Transparent electronics. Also, the achieving of the project will contribute to introducing this new promising thematic in the Romanian research, and this will allow connection to the European research and participation to project proposals in FP7.
