UPGRADING THE INFRASTRUCTURE FOR THE LABORATORY OF DIELECTRIC AND CONDUCTIVE THIN FILMS DEPOSITION FOR MICRO AND NANO-MANUFACTURING

Objectives:

The main project objective consists in the development of research infrastructure for depositing conductive and dielectric layers, allowing the researchers in IMT and partners institutions to work using last generation equipments, facilitating the participation to national and international research, development an innovation programs, in good accordance to the general objective of the Capacities Program:

„The general objective of the program is to develop the research infrastructure, allowing the researchers to use with new specific equipments, in conditions of quality management and to support the Romanian participation to international research, development an innovation programs (RDI)”

Specific objectives:

1. Developing the research infrastructure, by acquisition of new equipments and implementing the work of upgrading the laboratory infrastructure

2. “Increase the degree of using the research infrastructure” by: a) open this infrastructure for realizing scientific and technological services and b) involving experienced researchers and also young researchers, PhD students and students in realizing the experimental models that will verify scientific concepts and ideas resulted from the research activity;

3. “Putting in good use the RDI potential and resources at regional level, by developing new applications for environment, health, food and personal safety, industry, involving multidisciplinary research from different institutions from Romania;

4. “Participation of RDI entities to international research programs”, by creating the technological support for participating to European research programs (FP7, Eureka, MNT-ERANET, regional programs, bilateral collaboration), by “training” activities, informational support (web, dissemination, experts identification) for participating to European platforms and Networks of Excellence in the domain of micro and nanodevices and structures manufacturing for different applications.
