Project objectives

The main objectives of the projects are:

(i) Advanced electromagnetic modeling and optimization of high performance antennas and antenna arrays;

(ii) Improvement of the Schottky diode detector;

(iii) Silicon micromachining and substrate integrated waveguide technologies implementation;

(iv) electromagnetic modeling and experimental characterization of different materials (including biological tissues) up to 110 GHz;

(v)  Hybrid integration of the low noise amplifiers and Schottky diodes with the antenna on the same receiving front-end.
