ABOUT CAS: The Conference is underlying the development in micro and nanotechnologies and is still maintaining the “traditional” connection with semiconductor electronics.

We are launching a call for „Late News” papers targetting CAS 2016 (10-12 October 2016, Sinaia, Romania). The only new requirement in comparison with the previous calls is:  the paper must contain experimental work. The deadline for the new call is 27th of June, 2016. This acts as on extension (the last one) of the regular call.

The papers (a four page extended abstract) should be uploaded on http://epapers.org/cas2016. Details on the International Semiconductor Conference (CAS), an IEEE event, can be found on the conference site www.imt.ro/cas, including a list of invited speakers etc.

Notification of acceptance: by 20th of July, 2016

The conference is taking place between 10th and 12th of October, 2016 (details on http://www.imt.ro/cas).

Selected conference papers will be published in-extenso in ROMJIST-Romanian Journal of Information Science and Technology (ISI Publication). The accepted and presented papers will be included  in the IEEE Xplore database after the Conference.

Venue:  Sinaia is a beautiful mountain resort, located at about 125 km (by car or by train) from Bucharest (special conference shuttle from the Bucharest will be arranged). The town was named after Sinaia Monastery, around which it was built; the monastery in turn is named after the Biblical Mount Sinai. You can visit interesting places in Sinaia and around: Peles Royal Castle and Pelisor Castle (http://visit.peles.ro/), the Cantacuzino Castle (www.cantacuzinocastle.com/) and the Bran Castle (from the XIV century, recently related to the famous “Dracula“ (www.bran-castle.com/).
