CAS 2018 is now over. Thank you for attending!
After the event:
- 41st edition of the International Semiconductor Conference - CAS 2018, an IEEE event, October 10-12, 2018, in the historical mountain resort of Sinaia, Romania. The conference provides a forum of debate on selected topics of scientific research and technological development in the semiconductors field.
- will showcase the newest advances in micro- and nanotechnologies, still maintaining the "traditional" connection with semiconductor electronics
- facilitates networking between experts from academia, research institutes and companies on cutting-edge developments in Key Enabling Technologies (micro- and nanoelectronics, nanotechnologies, photonics, advanced materials, advanced manufacturing and processing)
- offers opportunities for young researchers to present their work and get recognition of their innovative research (special session of Student papers; Best student paper awarded by University of Cambridge and CAS)
The conference programme will include a large number of technical contributions presented in parallel sessions and posters sessions, as well as invited papers focusing on the latest developments in semiconductors related areas.
Pursuing an already established tradition, the 41st edition of CAS welcomes contributions from Master and PhD students. The best student papers will receive prizes jointly awarded by University of Cambridge and CAS in a ceremony taking place during the conference banquet.
The accepted papers will be published in the International Semiconductor Conference Proceedings 2018, which will be available on the IEEE Xplore Digital Library.
