Dr. Myung-Gil Kim
Dr. Myung-Gil Kim is an Associate Professor in the School of Advanced Materials Science & Engineering at Sungkyunkwan University (SKKU). He received his B.S. in Chemistry in 2006 from Korea Advance Institure of Science and Technology (Daejon, South Korea) and he obtained his Ph.D. in Chemistry from Northwestern University (Evanston, IL) under the supervision of Prof. Tobin J. Marks and Prof. Mercouri G. Kanatzidis in 2012. After short Post Doc. period at Northwestern University under Prof. Tobin Marks, he then joined Zhenan Bao group at Stanford University (Stanford, CA) as a Post Doc. researcher between 2012-2014. In 2014, Dr. Kim started independent career as a faculty at Department of Chemistry at Chung-Ang University.
Since 2019, he joined the faculty at SKKU. Dr. Kim published more than 118 SCI research articles in high impact journals including Nat. Electron., Nat. Mater., Nat. Commun, Sci. Adv., Adv. Mater., Adv. Funct. Mater. Adv. Sci., J. Am. Chem. Soc. His current research interests include the development of p-type semiconductor, inorganic photoresist for EUVL, and porous electrocatalyst.
