Dr. Rodica VLADOIU,

Dr. Rodica VLADOIU (Ph.D.-Physics from 2004) is full professor of Physics, namely Plasma Physics, Lasers and Spectroscopy, involved in Higher education, research and management as main activities/responsibilities. She was Head of the Physics Department between 2004-2006; Director of the Academic Grant ROSE for Universities (2019-2022); Local Coordinator of the CEEPUS network (from 2000), Member in the National University Research Council – CNCSIS (2006); Member in the Steering Commitee in II CESPC-Central European Symposium on Plasma Chemistry Brno, Czech Republic; International Evaluator for projects for Czech Science Foundation and, Member of the Academy of Romanian Scientists (AOSR), Bucharest Romania (from 2021). She is coauthor in 101 papers and 2 reviews published in journals with ISI quotation (429 citations - excluding self-citations), in 2 national patents (published on ISI Web of science) and first author in three chapters in international books (e.q: "New Industrial Plasma Technology"-Chapter 29, Wiley-VCH, 2009). She presented 55 Invited Lectures and 2 Progress Reports at International Conferences (e.q. Nanotechnology San Francisco-USA 2019, ICMMM Orlando-USA 2018, Nano Science and Technology- Singapore 2016, EMRS-Lille 2016, 2012).
Her scientific carrier as Head of the research' Group is focused on development of plasma technology applications with particular emphasis on the fabrication of nanostructured thin film, fundamental research on Plasma-surface interaction and Plasma processing in topics as deposition and treatment but also combined with the study of applications of plasmas in nanotechnology. The expertise of her work covers: low temperature plasma processes, advanced materials synthesized by vacuum methods – (the original one: Thermionic Vacuum Arc-TVA) and characterized by specific means. In the last years, she was involved with the research team in 17 Research projects (as principal investigator in 10 National/ 5 International projects, and research member in 2 International projects). One of the last papers published as main author was a Review in J. of Magn. & Alloys IF=15.8). The address of the profile is on https://publons.com/researcher/2753074/rodica-n-vladoiu/.
