Dr. Filippo Troiani

Dr. Filippo Troiani is Research Scientist at Istituto Nanoscienze of CNR in Modena since 2010. He received his PhD in physics in 2001 from the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia. He has been postdoc at the Universidad Autonoma de Madrid and visiting scientist by the group of Daniel Loss at the University of Basel. His research activity is focused on spin-based implementation of quantum computing and quantum sensing, on the generation and characterization of quantum coherence and entanglement in solid state and molecular spin systems, on the simulation of decoherence. On these and related topics, he has been teaching PhD courses since 2010. He has co-authored more than 85 articles in international peer-reviewed journals (Google Scholar H-index=29). He is currently involved as co-PI of Unit in the FET Open Project "Integrated Qubits Towards Future High-Temperature Silicon Quantum Computing Hardware" (IQubits).
