Dr. Anna Tasolamprou
Anna Tasolamprou is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Physics at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, Greece and a member of the Photonic-Phononic and Meta-Materials (PPM) research group at the Institute of Electronic Structure and Laser, Hellenic Research and Technology Foundation, Heraklion, Crete. Her research focuses on electromagnetism, with an emphasis on wave propagation in random and periodic media, including photonic crystals, 2D materials, metamaterials, and metasurfaces. She explores these phenomena across the microwave, terahertz, and optical spectral regions, with applications in emerging and cutting-edge technologies.
