The Organizing Committee of the International Semiconductor Conference (CAS) is pleased to invite you to be part of the 43rd edition of the conference, CAS 2020, an IEEE event The conference will take place from 7 to 9 October 2020.

The virtual conference CAS 2020 will feature LIVE presentations with live Q&A using the Microsoft Teams platform.
The registered participants will receive an e-mail message with Login data and further access instructions from the conference organizers.
Please see additional details available on CAS 2020 programme webpage.

Given the global situation caused by COVID-19 pandemic, the travel restrictions and because the health and safety of the conference participants is our top priority, the Organizing and Technical Programme Committee of CAS 2020, an IEEE event, decided to organise this year the first VIRTUAL International Semiconductor Conference!

Registration fees for the virtual conference are greatly reduced compared to the previous years, and include access to all conference sessions and an electronic copy of the conference proceedings: the new registration fee for all attendees is 50 EUR.
The papers presented at the virtual conference will be submitted after the event to the IEEE Xplore® digital library. To be published in the CAS 2020 Conference Proceedings and to be eligible for publication in IEEE Xplore® digital library, at least one author of an accepted paper is required to register for the conference.
For registration and payment, please follow the instructions available on the Registration webpage. Please notice that the details for accessing the conference sessions will be provided to the e-mail address introduced in the registration/payment form.

Information and guidelines for authors on how to prepare for the virtual presentations will be available soon.

We would like to thank you for your understanding and support to maintain the conference continuity by attending the virtual edition of CAS 2020, thus contributing to the efforts to slow the spread of COVID-19!

Over the past 42 years, CAS has become a recognized forum for sharing ideas and experience, by presenting the latest developments among researchers working in semiconductor electronics and by promoting international collaboration. Bringing together experts from the industry, academia, research institutes and students, CAS 2020 will provide you opportunities to present your latest research results and technological advances in the micro- and nanotechnologies field, to the interested scientific community and to potential beneficiaries.

CAS 2020 provides you valuable insights and the latest research in the following topics:

The conference programme will include a large number of technical contributions from multidisciplinary research and application areas presented in oral and poster sessions, including special sessions for student papers, as well as invited papers and extensive networking.

On the last evening of the conference, a banquet including the awards ceremony will take place, nominating the Best Paper in each conference session and the Best Student Papers.

The presented papers and debates will emphasize the huge impact of semiconductors to everyday technology applications for society, such as communications, consumer electronics, computing, healthcare, security, transportation, clean energy and will highlight the semiconductors vast potential for future developments and new applications.

All the papers presented at the conference are peer-reviewed by the conference Paper Review Board.
The accepted papers (4 pages) will be published in the Conference Proceedings, which will be submitted to the IEEE Xplore® digital library.
Authors have the option of submitting papers of 2 pages that could be selected for presentation at the conference only and will not be published in the Conference Proceedings!

Extended versions of selected papers presented at the conference may be included in special issues of indexed journals. The contributions will be refereed according to the standards of the Journals.
